Directions
Explain to chanichim that one side of the room is the "disagree" side, and the other is the "agree" side.
Read aloud the statements (examples below to get started), reminding kids which side is agree and which is disagree. Invite them to move to the place they feel reflects their opinion.
Once in place, let them discuss with one an other. Then invite a few to share aloud before sharing the next statement.
Statements include:
- T'fillah should be done in English
- T'fillah should be done silently
- I prefer musical T'fillah
- T'fillah is better alone
- We should not use siddurim in T'fillah
- T'fillah should be all discussion based
- There should be a different leader for each T'fillah
- We should not do T'fillah at all
- T'fillah should be before breakfast
- We should do T'fillah in a different location every day.

Helpful Tips
Use a land mark of sorts to mark the boundaries of the barometer, like a tree or a table.

Make it even better: Have the chanichim add their own statements to the list! Ask for a volunteer or a group to come up with the next statement about t'fillah that a tzevet member can ask to the who edah as the next agree/disagree statement.
