Directions

Divide chanichim into 3 kvutzot (groups).

Their goal is to mine "gold" (rocks with numbers written on them) that the tzevet has buried in the sand on the volleyball court in advance.

In 45 second increments, let 1 chanich from each team enter the court to mine for rocks using the plastic spoons as shovels. Once they find them ,they can place them in their team crate.

While this occurs, the teammates waiting in line set up a systems to carry the crate to the "quarry" (one beitan near the Mercaz) using the rope. The rule is that they cannot touch the crate with their hands. This gives the kids waiting in line a project to work on, involving everyone at all times of the peulah.

Once enough rocks have been collected, everyone has had a turn to dig, or the tzevet decides it has been enough time, invite the chanichim to start bringing their crate into the quarry.

The team with the highest collected point value wins.
