Directions
Before the peulah, tell chanichim to brainstorm songs they would want to use to represent them. Encourage them to choose songs that have a simple, recognizable, and unpbeat rhythm.
Begin by playing a clip (usually first verse through chorus) of each song and saying the name of it out loud.
Have chanichim vote on the song they like the best. Sometimes this takes multiple rounds of voting. I recommend ranked voting (also known as 3,2,1 voting- assign your top choice the most amount (3) of points, second choice the second most amount (2) of points, etc. This allows for more compromise and takes second choices into account).
Split chanichim into groups. Each group is responsible for a verse/half a verse or the chorus. Each group should have a tzevet member with them. Assign each group a topic to include in the song (examples: trips, tzevet, general ruach, our machezeh, special things about that edah...). Keep in mind that each group should have at least one comfortable hebrew speaker (whether it is a camper, counselor, or miksoi).
Come back together as an edah and each group presents their piece in order of the song so everyone gets a sense of how it will sound all together.
After the peulah, compile all of the pieces and write the lyrics on a posterboard/make copies of it for each camper to have. I recommend learning it soon after the peulat erev. Peulat Edah is a great time for this.

For Shoafim and Gesher- could also work for a bunk creating their own "tzrif anthem"
