Re-write a popular song with funnier lyrics

Directions

Write down the lyrics to a song, putting in blank spots to leave out 1-2 words per line. In those spaces, write what part of speech the word is (noun, adjective, verb ending in "ing", etc.). Don't tell campers what song you're rewriting! Ask campers for words that are that can be put in the blanks. After all of the blanks are filled in, sing the song you created!

Helpful Tips

Works well with very popular and catchy songs that everyone knows the tune of. It is easier to sing the song if you also pay attention to the amount of syllables in the words that you remove (this is optional).
