Directions

Instructions:

  • Provide campers with pipe cleaners and construction paper.

  • Ask them to answer the following questions, each with a character strength:

    • A strength your family gave you.

    • A strength your friends know you by.

    • A strength you are building for yourself.

  • Write each strength on its own circle of construction paper.

  • Use pipe cleaners to connect all three circles into a “character molecule.”

  • Invite campers to share their molecules with the group.

Group Reflection Questions:

  • How can you use your strengths to make our camp community kinder and stronger?

  • Which strength are you most proud of, and why?

  • How can you help others build their own strengths?
